Randy & Allison - Carmelle Reception

I was almost off to bed when I realized I never posted from Randy and Allison's reception. Enjoy!

My little girl

Remember a few months back when I promised to post more pictures from a photo shoot we did for our baby's first birthday. Well, I'm finally living up to that promise...and more. Now that I'm done editing for a while, I've finally been able to focus on some of my own pictures. So, for your viewing pleasure, some of my favorite pictures we've taken of our baby this past year, plus a few more of those first-birthday pictures.

Our poor baby. It's hard when both your parents love photography. But she's a good sport.

Jewkes Family Part II - Utah State Capitol

As promised, some adorable pictures of adorable kids. Enjoy!

Jewkes Family - Utah State Captiol

Over the Christmas break, I got to shoot some family portraits for the Jewkes family. We went to the state Capitol because it was little too cold to take pictures outside with all the babies. I was thrilled with the results. This is part-one of the shoot. The second half involved lots of adorable pictures of the kids!

Randy & Allison - Salt Lake Temple

It rained on Randy and Allison's wedding day, but you know what? Sometimes that can be the best thing for pictures. It adds a certain mood to the images, and when the sun comes out afterwards, gosh, it's pretty.

I had a blast shooting these pictures. Randy was so tender with Allison. You could tell by how they looked at each other that they just adored one another.

Allison - Bridals at the Carmelle Reception Center

I've done weddings at the Carmelle, but never bridals. Loved it! There is an incredible courtyard outside the reception center with flowers and greenery and the front of the building has a fun architectural flair. It lends itself toward a more formal-type of photography.

Randy & Allison -- Little Cottonwood Temple Quarry

For the first time in several months, I'm finally caught up with all my photo editing. Yea! That means I can finally play catch-up on several photo shoots I've yet to post on this blog, including the entire wedding package I shot for Randy and Allison. They were married back in October. Yes, I know, I'm slow!

We took their engagements at the Temple Quarry at the mouth of Little Cottonwood. This is one of my favorite places to shoot because it is so versatile for both large groups and small engagement-type shoots. I also love the colors up there -- it's great any time of year.
