Baby, oh Baby!

I couldn't resist posting these pictures of my husband and our little sweetie. She's growing up so fast! I don't know if you can even tell, but these pictures were taken with our new Canon 5D Mark ii. I love it! We were both giddy when we bought it. It has an amazing sensor and I think it shows in the image quality.

Anyhow...enough rambling about the camera. Enjoy these pics. I'll be updating with some recent family shots and some weddings this week. Cheers!

Jenna - bridals

Jenna and Russ decided to do a joint bridal session at the downtown Salt Lake City library last week. What a blast! I love shooting at the library because you can get a mix of eclectic, but classy shots. We also went to Martine's and shot a few images on the front stairs

Brittany - bridals

Last week, I took bridals with Brittany at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Thank goodness we picked an indoor location because the weather was terrible. But Brittany looked gorgeous! I love it when brides add a splash of color to their dress.

Russ & Jenna

What can I say about Jenna and Russ? The two are so much fun. I grew up with Jenna and love her to death. She and Russ make the perfect pair. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from an engagement session last month. We shot at Pierpont in downtown Salt Lake and at Memory Grove.

Shawn & Brittany

I was so thrilled when Shawn called me last year to ask if I would shoot his wedding. I've known Shawn most my life and have become good friends with the family of his bride-to-be. I knew it would be a blast to hang out with  these two and take part in their wedding day. Here are a few engagements we shot last month at Gardner Village. They're getting married in May. 

Brooke & Andrew: the Wedding

The day Andrew and Brooke got married was absolutely gorgeous, but freezing! Poor Brooke had to wear her coat and gloves between shoots. Still, we got some great shots and had a lot of fun.

Brooke & Andrew: the Reception

Here are a few of my favorite shots from Brooke and Andrew's reception. It was at Le Jardin, at the Rose Shop, in Sandy. I love shooting here because it's absolutely beautiful. For those who haven't been there, it's a greenhouse, with winding pathways that lead throughout the building.

 Instead of a traditional bouquet, Brooke threw a dozen single roses.
