My new logo

Some of you may have noticed I switched my logo last week. And then, I switched it again tonight. I'm struggling! A good friend, Kirk Larson, designed two logos for me to use on this site, and I can't decide which one I like better.

Kirk, by the way, is an incredible designer based in Provo and one of my husband's best friends. My sneaky husband got him to design the logos as a Christmas present. I'll be taking their photos this spring in exchange for the gift, so look for those.

Anyhow, any suggestions? I like the red, because it "pops," but the other is more traditional, and I like how it looks as a watermark better.

Maybe you could use the more traditional one but "pop" your first name with red. I agree I like the red too. Or, use the more modern logo and change the "o" - didn't really understand the symbols. Is it supposed to be a wedding ring?

I like the red one. The O is a camera, right?

Both are great. I still really like the first one. The color and font look really hip and I like how the "o" is part of a camera. That's my pick!
BTW - hope we see you guys next weekend for MAC dancing!

I like Delani's idea. I would make "photography" red, though, and keep your name consistent. I think right now the more traditional one is actually in style. But I think things will likely swing back to contemporary in a few years, so keep the ring one handy for when you want to freshen the look then. And when you do use the ring one, change the O so that it's just a little more obvious that it's a ring. I'd lose the plus sign in the middle. Just my thoughts. I LOVE the traditional one.

I agree with Delani. Use the traditional one, but change the font color.

Call me for scrapbooking time.

Jared and I say use the more traditional one. It feels more professional.

i really like the professional one but you should change it to red so it still pops even as a watermark -- great photos!
